Demon Slayer now streaming on Netflix
The 2019 anime hit “Demon Slayer” is now available on Netflix Asia.
Demon Slayer revolves around Tanjiro Kamado, a young coal miner who strived to become a demon slayer after coming home to find his family slaughtered, and the remaining survivor, her sister Nezuko, was demonized. Tanjiro must now find a cure for his sister and avenge those who perished by the bloodlust of demons.
Japanese animation studio Ufotable, which is known for their works in the Fate series, is responsible for the anime’s visual direction and animation. They are known for simultaneously animating 3D CGI and 2D traditional animation with precision.
The anime captivated a huge following in 2019 after Episode 19 blew the public’s mind with stunning visuals, the Fortnite streamer Ninja among the notable few. Crunchyroll also awarded the show as 2019’s “Anime of the Year” and “Best fight scene” for the iconic Episode 19.
Season 1 features 26 episodes and is available with English and Chinese subtitles. The following canon movie entitled ”Demon Slayer: Infinity Train” would premiere on the 16th of October. The movie was reported to happen directly after the events of the 26th episode and would serve an important role in the anime’s upcoming second installment.
